How it went

The brief
The concept of deep energy efficiency, which works extremely well in the USA through comprehensive surveys and savings modelling, has not really taken hold here — for want of a joined-up approach and because of complicated administration. The task was to adapt the proven model to the local market, stop energy being wasted, and make the road from idea to delivery and to getting money back through international funds easier for investors.

How we solved it

Detailed engineering survey
We carried out in-depth thermographic and energy surveys of existing buildings in order to find where the largest losses were.

Optimised retrofit proposal
We produced a precise plan covering better insulation, replacement of windows and doors, optimisation of heating and cooling, and installation of solar panels for full or partial energy independence.

Financing and fund applications
So that the investment would not be a burden, we took over the whole process of preparing documents and applying to EU and international funds for non-repayable grants and favourable green loans.

An offer with real savings figures
We presented clients with a clear financial projection: the monthly saving in euros, the payback period, and the reduction in CO₂ emissions.
